Baltimore Ravens 47 – 42 Cleveland Browns

The Ravens and the Browns played one of the most exciting games in recent memory, as they combined for 89 points in a contest that saw Baltimore end up with the victory thanks to a long-range field goal from Justin Tucker and a safety. The Ravens got off to a better start, though, coming up big in both the second (14-7) and third (13-6) quarters and building up a huge advantage over their rivals with only 15 minutes left on the clock. Cleveland saved their best for last and won the final quarter by an expressive 22-13 score, as they even held the lead in the final minutes before the Ravens would flip the script as descripted earlier. There were several impressive individual performances in a game that saw both teams combine for 878 total yards. Lamar Jackson only completed 11 of 17 passes for 163 yards and a score, but the reigning MVP made most of his damage on the ground with 124 yards and two scores on nine carries. Mark Andrews didn’t find the end zone, but he made five catches for 78 yards. As for the Browns, Baker Mayfield completed 28 of 47 passes for 343 yards and two touchdowns, but he also tossed one pick. Nick Chubb racked up 82 yards and two scores on 17 carries. Kareem Hunt was a two-way threat for the Browns as well, finishing with 33 yards and a rushing touchdown on six carries while also adding six catches for 77 yards and another score. Rashard Higgins also scored a touchdown.

Kansas City Chiefs 33 – 27 Miami Dolphins

The Chiefs had to work harder than expected to get past the Dolphins, but they eventually accomplished that feat and moved to 14-1 on the season, while Miami fell to 8-5 even if they put up a good fight. The Dolphins jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, but that advantage would evaporate quickly — the Chiefs outscored them 30-3 over the next two quarters. Miami tried to turn things around in the final quarter and scored 17 points, while limiting Kansas City to just one field goal, but that wasn’t enough and the Chiefs cruised their way towards securing yet another win. Patrick Mahomes might have completed 24 of 34 passes for 393 yards and two scores, but he also threw three interceptions — it was just the second time in his career he accomplished that feat. Kansas City’s top threat on offense was Travis Kelce, as the star tight end finished with eight receptions for 136 yards and a touchdown. As for the Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoa completed 28 of 48 passes for 316 yards, two scores and one pick, but his game wasn’t enough. The rushing attack was barely non existent and the team’s biggest ofensive threat was Mike Gesicki, who made five catches for 65 yards and two touchdowns.

Indianapolis Colts 44 – 27 Las Vegas Raiders

The Colts and the Raiders played a game that could end up being key in the race for playoff seeds, and the Colts came out on top in a game where they dominated the contest from start to finish. The Colts jumped out to a 10-7 lead in both the first and second quarters, and they also won the subsequent two quarters, 7-6 and 17-7, respectively. With the win, the Colts moved to 9-4 while the Raiders fell to 7-6 — although both franchises remain very much alive in the postseason race. The Colts had a great performance from Philip Rivers, who completed 19 of 28 passes for 244 yards and two scores, but the biggest stars were T.Y. Hilton — the star receiver finished with five catches for 86 yards and two scores — and Jonathan Taylor — the big-bodied running back had 20 carries for 150 yards and two touchdowns. Derek Carr completed 31 of his 45 passes for 316 yards for two scores and two touchdowns, while he also received decent support from Nelson Agholor. He recorded five catches for 100 yards and a touchdown.
